  • About college Netball:
    Kāpiti College teams play in the Netball Kāpiti league at Te Atiawa Courts every Saturday from the 29th of April until the 9th of September. The teams may also choose to compete in extra one day tournaments if agreed by the players, parents and coach (the college sports fees do not cover the cost). 


    About Senior A team:
    Competes every Saturday in the Kāpiti Netball league at Te Atiawa Courts as well as representing the college in extra competitions including RSSL on Monday nights at different Lower Hutt and Wellington college locations, the CSW one day tournament at the ASB Centre (Kilbirnie), Central 6, Freyberg exchange, and the Winter Tournament which is being hosted by Wellington at the ASB Centre.


    About Junior A team:
    Competes every Saturday in the Kāpiti Netball league at Te Atiawa Courts as well as representing the college at the CSW one day tournament at the ASB Centre (Kilbirnie). The team may also choose to compete in extra tournaments if agreed by the players, parents and coach


  • Saturday compulsary umpiring duties:
    Teams that make it into grades premiere down to senior A are expected to complete an umpiring free umpiring 1 session course and the test that goes with this. This is becasue these teams are required by the club to also provide 2 volunteer umpires on their duty weeks.


  • Coaches needed:
    The college is looking for coaches for the Senior and Junior teams. If you can help please email Ali at the below email address.


Uniform: Netball dresses for the season are being issued out by Ali, our school sports director, but uniforms won’t be issued out to players who haven’t set up a payment plan to pay their sports fees.

Full uniform rules for Saturday Games: 

  • You can wear black shorts under your dress but the shorts can’t be tights/leggings that reach down to the knees.
  • Team must wear ALL white socks 
  • Hair tied up and nails trimmed before games.
  • NO jewellery can be worn during a game, NO exceptions. Umpires will not let you take the court if you are wearing jewellery.
  • Supportive court shoes. 
  • Long sleeved black thermal/tops are allowed to be worn under your Netball dress BUT not long tights.
    All outstanding 2024 sports fees must be paid to be eligible to be in a team.
  • Fees:
    $210pp Snr A

    $130pp Snr B
    $130pp Jnr A
    $115pp for all senior and junior teams playing Saturday games only
  • All default fees will be charged to the team who is defaulting unless we are informed early enough to not get charged.

    $15pp for players in teams training at Te Atiawa courts at night using the flood lights.

    Fees are non-refundable and cover club rego fees, uniform unkeep​​​​, and training equipment.

Saturday 8th March - 8:30am - 1pm - KC new gym


Juniors - Yrs 9 and 10 - Key dates:
Tuesday 4th March 3.45-5.15pm- KC outdoor courts
Tuesday 11th March 3.45-5.15pm - KC outdoor courts


Junior Trials:

Saturday 15th March 8.30 - 1pm - KC new gym

If you can't attend training or your game it is your responsibility to tell your coach.
