On Thursday the 23rd our girls took on Wgtn Girls in the Div 1 grade. This is the first time that KC has had a girls team in the top grade for some time.

We fielded first and restricted a very good Wgtn team to 139/3.

Our turn to bat with both our openers made solid starts. 

The girls fought hard but just came up short by 13 runs for the win. We ended up on 127/1 of our 20 overs.

Big shout out to Emma for claiming 2 wickets and Charlotte 36 retired, Emma 34 not out and Gabby 20.

A great start to Div 1 cricket and fantastic effort against the top ranked CSW cricket team.
